-=WebTek=- is a kind of streaming teknival with connections and performances in realtime from all over the world. We can't think about a management core of the event, we only make easier for all tekno sound systems and independent artists to stream artistic performances and to connect each other. Like on the first WEBTEK that was on last February 2010 many people, solo artists, freetekno sounds and other groups will try to play and sent over the Internet their performances. The WEBTEK is so enjoyable in the first instance on the internet (surf here next october and on several mirror sites). All WEBTEK performers can contacts real places for a collaboration (eg: by hosting you and your performance, by providing a computer and an internet access). Obviously the event is completely free, there is no money or business in WEBTEK, there's not hopes of businesses, the whole event is produced free of charge where possible and with the effort of some online tekno radios. We want to ensure at least 72 hours of 100% freetekno streaming. Hopefully there will be some real (which means not virtual) T.A.Z. or social areas which can host some artists.. it is recommended to host them for free.
WEBTEK is not only a festival, its source code is available here, it contains freetekno stream sources, embedded players and all WEBTEK submitted performers codes. Feel free to share, modify, integrate with your site. Keep the mind free and the spirit alive!
